  • This is a unique wheelchair. I like the look, it is very manageable. Lightweight, easy to fold and store. Easy in and out the vehicle. Rolls smoothly on concrete. I love it. It is a must have for easy management.

  • We like the chair because it is lightweight and maneuverable. It also works well inside the house with smaller hallways and out on the street. It is super easy to fold and store while traveling. The wheel lock mechanism can be difficult to engage if adjusted to apply more pressure to lock the wheel. The locking handle can also be blocked by the user leaning on the chair back and is hard to engage or disengage. Overall, we like the chairs but wish the locking was a bit easier.

  • This foldable wheelchair is great. We were impressed with the large rear wheels to easily cross obstacles and more stable on bumpy ground. The seat is wider and higher than old wheelchairs we had and it is more comfortable. It's light enough that my senior citizen mom can carry and open it no problem. She likes the pull out handle that's similar to a wheeled suitcase handle for easy transporting while collapsed. Nice unit!

Muy buena tiene mucha potencia y llego antes de tiempo y en buen estado

  • The retaining socket for the right are of the chair broke. I sent an email to the company for a replacement that I would pay for. I never even got a reply. The chair is well built and we like it very much but without the ability to order replacements for broken parts, it might as well be junk. Please respond and help me get a replacement part and I will amend this review. Since writing this review I found the company website and talked with a representative. He put me in contact with customer service here in the USA. Since the chair was out of warranty, I agreed to pay for the part and shipping. After I received the LEFT side socket I call and they replace the it with a RIGHT side socket. Of all the chairs I viewed on Amazo, I believe this is the best one at an affordable price. I highly recommend this chair over others!

  • Simple to operate. Sturdy enough. A life saver for my Parkinson’s disease. It fits every doorway in my house. The seat lifts up to fold the chair. It’s heavy but easily fits in my trunk

  • Screw can out while assembling wheel. Couldn’t tighten wheel 🛞 Urgent need wheelchair can’t afford not to return.

  • I had a lot of anxiety about buying an electric wheelchair online even though I did a lot of research on them. I'm very happy I chose this one. It arrived assembled except the footrests. It's easy to load and unload in the trunk. It weighs right at 40 lbs. After the first initial charge, it only takes about an hour to fully charge. The speed is great! It turns a circle the width of itself and fast. If you are 6' or taller I'm not sure how comfortable it will be for you because it's not very big. I'm 5'5" and it's perfect height for me. There's no room for a cup holder or any kind of accessories but that's what makes it so compact. It is a very comfortable ride and a good purchase.

The Pride Mobility Jazzy Carbon is an outstanding value at this price, which is 1500 dollars less than the Porto Mobility Ranger Carbon. It is lightweight at 40 pounds and folds up to "check in luggage" at airline spec of under or near 62 inches total. It can be gate checked. The battery is approved by major airlines for removal and then stow to carry on baggage. Due to the light weight, there are some compromises, thin seat and back padding (small shallow seat is goof for a small person, not a large person), just cheap foam on the handlebar in back instead of a nice velcro ballistic material that would hold up better over time. There is no "carry bag" for it according to Pride Mobility, but the Porto Mobility transport bag for any of their D-09 based series, Ranger folding, etc, fits great and is a very nice durable transport bag when folded. The motors on the Jazzy Carbon are "soft start" and not as quick or speedy as the Portfo Mobility units, but, especially for the dollar, and with the huge global and physical presence of a very responsive support network of dealers and also the Pride Mobility factory and headquarters in Pensylvania, is a huge plus. This unit is perfect for airline travel. Or car transport at 40 pounds if one does not have a rear electric lift or side door minivan ramp, etc. The front foot plate is very fragile. If someone were to put weight on it at the "advertised" weight rating of this chair, it will likely break. So, best to sit on the chair when the plate is up, then lower it and use it for just your feet support. Though the chair is "rated or advertised" for a heavy person, it is doubtful to hold up well unless only on smooth surface, indoors, etc, for over 160-170 pounds. Also, whether because of the tire material and substance or the small diameter, it does not do well over even small floor transition strips, etc. Be sure to only purchase from a verified (google) online or local dealer for Pride Mobility Products with a physical store presence, great customer service history with "real email" contacts and "real phone call" presence and responsiveness. Check BBB ratings and BBB certifications as well because there are a lot of fancy online websites and "dealers" that are here today, and gone to "Maui". And, do not return emails or phone calls for questions or service, etc.

I bought this for my gravely ill mother's October 13 Birthday. My mother can walk, but after 31 days in the hospital recently, she cannot walk far, without gasping for air. I will be transporting her to doctor appointments, via public bus in this wheelchair. This wheelchair is a bit heavy, which is fine, as I don't want a flimsy wheelchair for my mother. It is a beautiful burgundy wheelchair! However, I am not sure if I put the leg rests on right. That's the only tiny thing "wrong" about this wheelchair, I'm sure I'll figure it out. UPDATE: I finally figured out I had the leg rests installed wrong...The black clip of the leg rests locks onto the pivot part on the inside, not the outside... The wheelchair is perfect! I saw the exact same Karman Wheelchair on Walgreens website, it retails for $328.99, being sold for the same price that I paid for this wheelchair, $126.69! I saved $202.30 cents, by buying this wheelchair! By buying my wheelchair from best-wheelchair.com, I got it within 2 days. With Walgreens, I'd had to wait a week! My mother loves her new stylishly beautiful chariot!

  • It's a bit on the smaller size I'm 165 and 5'2" and barely fit but I do fit comfortably still i just wouldn't get this if you any bigger folds well super light weight and comfy so easy to push myself works great if insurance won't cover your wheel chair for any reason or don't have insurance. 😁 Just make sure to put the anti tip on before trying to do a wheelie lol 🤣

  • My husband who is a recent amputee loves this chair. He uses it everywhere since getting it. Benefits of the chair are variable speed, quick stick response, lightweight and foldable for easy transport. He gave up a more well known brand of chair Jazzy model J6 for this Rubicon and has never been happier. Thanks Rubicon for making my husband's day. UPDATE..... AFTER 9 MONTHS THE ELECTRONICS QUIT WORKING. TURNS ON AND JUST BEEPS LIKE WHEELS AREN'T ENGAGED WHEN THEY ARE. TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF THE COMPANY GETS 0 RESULTS, WAS GREAT UP UNTIL THIS ISSUE ON CHRISTMAS EVE OF ALL DAYS. ALREADY REPLACED WITH A VIVE MOBILITY AND THOUGH LESS EXPENSIVE AND A BIT HEAVIER DEFINITELY WORKS A LOT BETTER. I'LL NEVER BUY FROM RUBICON AGAIN.
