The footrests do not lock so footrests flop back and forth, how do you push disabled person into shower or wherever when his feet and legs cannot be secured in footrests.they flop back and forth, don’t stay still or straight to go through doors etc. no locking mechanism came with it as on manual wheelchairs

THis has been a godsend for our family member. It allows him some dignity. It’s sturdy and not too heavy. Easily maneuverable and affordable. The cutout on the seat can pop out easily, so just be cautious. That’s not a design flaw-obviously it needs to! It just took a time or two to get used to it with transferring. We have not used it as a shower chair-only for toileting. Definitely recommend!
