Chair arrived unassembled. I’m handicapped and unable to assemble. best-wheelchair.com approved return but refused to allow UPS to pick up the box of parts weighing over 50 pounds. I cannot lift it to return. There are other chairs that come assembled for same price

This is a transport chair not meant to be a self propelled wheelchair although you could take steps while sitting in it to propel yourself forward depending on your strength. It’s light weight about 20 lbs, the lighter ones were too flimsy for anyone over 150 lbs. It was easy to assemble with step by step color photo instructions. Only stumper was the large rear wheels, evidently there’s a front and rear side to the tires even though they look identical on each side. This won’t be evident till you try to put the dust caps on the wheels and they refuse to snap onto one or both wheels. If you’re not a neat freak you may decide to move on without the caps, the chair will still function properly without the caps but I had to figure it out! One wheel was backward. Caps then snapped right on. The seat pad is very nice, comfortable and washable. The seat belt was a plus. Handled well with a 210 lb person on sidewalk, paved street and parking lot. I always pull the chair backwards over entryways using the better stability of the larger rear wheels since the person in the chair is much heavier than I am thus avoiding an uncontrolled forward tipping I wouldn’t be able to control.
Very sturdy. Hand brakes work well. Foot rests are easy to work and large.

Works good, assembly took about 15 minutes using the multi tool which came with the chair. Basically a knock-off of the name brand ‘Drive’ version of this same chair, but it works fine and does what it needs to do.

The chair is well made. Assembly was not difficult. I would have given five stars if just for the chair. Main reason for less stars was delivery. Wife needed the wheelchair for appointments and getting around after surgery. best-wheelchair.com showed next day delivery. Apparently shipping is done through another company. The chair arrived three days later..
