The brake stays only until you hold it , there is no way you can park it somewhere slanting or easy sliding places. It’s unsafe to have unless you have a dedicated person who stays by handicapped to hold the brake all time .

This was such a great chair for my 5’11” Dad with Parkinsons. But the back wheel broke after 8 uses. He is 200lbs. The wheels are not very forgiving and hard plastic. The chair is very comfortable but my mom had a hard time locking it open and it almost folded in on my Dad who is 83.
Update: I am updating this review from 3 stars to 4 stars after hearing from the company a little late. They explained that my email ended up in their spam. They offered very generous resolutions with free wheel replacement and a spare and a $100 credit and lifetime repairs. They are working on making the wheels better. Definitely use the belt. The chair design was great minus the wheel issue and making sure the seat is locked in when you open it.

This chair works perfectly to get my husband around the house. We have even used it to travel to appointments. Would highly recommend to anyone. Comfortable & easy to use. Fits through doorways with plenty of room.

This chair is lightweight and folds easily for easy transport. So glad we got it. A bonus is the folding armrests which you won’t find on most chairs.

Light weight, five minutes to assemble, great looking. I am a senior and I will easily be able to push a man on this chair. It will be very useful in the summer.

We like the design and features of this product. It is lightweight and easy to load into our car. The only concerns we have are the limited information about using the product in the manual. The brakes need tightening and we don’t know how to do this.

My 14 yr old son has CP and gets tired of walking so this things has been a life saver !

This was purchased to help me with getting my mom back and forth from some tight spaces. She would fatigue quickly using her walker and trying to help her in and out of the bathroom/bedroom was becoming a difficult task. Now I can just have her sit in this when she gets too tired and guide her to the area she wants to go to. So much easier using this in narrow spaces! You just have to remember to put the foot rest up in order to make some turn arounds in places like tight bathrooms or hallways.
