   This transporter is a big help for me! I use it to transport my 92 yr young mom to many doctor appointments and events She has portable oxygen and cannot long distant walk. It’s light & fits easily into my truck. Also, the legs can be taken off. Easily fold together! Much cheaper than the ones advertised in magazines! Great purchase and price!!

   I bought this chair because the description said it measures 21.5 in width. However, it did not fit through my 23in bathroom door, as you can see in the picture. The front wheel gets stuck on the door if the hinge is unable to open all the way (there’s a wall behind it). I also find it difficult to maneuver unless someone is pushing the chair. The brakes are one of the things I like about this chair; they are easy to reach. Overall, it’s not the chair for me. I wish I had bought another chair, either a wider and more comfortable one for doctor appointments, or one that fits through my doorways. UPDATE: after a year and a half of use, the back, right wheel popped off. It was held in place by a very small, thin washer.

   Works well on smooth surface (in door). It feels a bit bumpy on the road/public streets where the thin nylon seat can cause discomfort. My teeinage son has back pains and can’t walk for long distances or sometimes have limited mobility so this works well for indoor use at a convention area or air port. His back hurts more sitting in it when the public streets are bumpy.

   Don’t let low price she you think low value. I proved this type of chair at several places. I even found this chair at a medical outlet for 245.00 the average of the 6-8 places was over 225.00. If you are looking for an easy to fold and load sturdy and comfy chair this is it. I would not recommend this for a jerk chair for everyday continued use it is just not going to be best for that. It us the perfect chair for gettin in and out of doctors appointment and stores. It would be easy for an elderly couple to handle when one us on mend to get in and out of car and on and out of where they need to be. If you broke your leg and needed a chair for getting around for 6 or 8 weeks or another reason for rehabbing would be great. My grand mom is on mend after hospital and rehab stay we got this for taking her to appointments she is not able to walk long distances at this time.
