This chair is so easy to maneuver, pack into the van, it is sturdy but light weight, and my son has great back support, seat support and foot support. This chair also has a seatbelt. My son is 5′ tall and weighs 114 lbs.
I would not recommend this for anyone who is taller than 5′. The footrest does not stick way out in front as most chairs do. It easily folds up under seat when not in use. I had looked a very long time for a chair such as this. Well worth the money!

The chair was very sturdy and seems well built , moves well, break well and easy to fold.. etc..and would be a great chair for a kid or an adult under 4 feet, and would receive a 5 star rating for that. However, the handle bar is way to low for the person pushing the chair .. it is so low that the person riding in the chair will have to sit upright and lean forward to avoid the pushers hand being squeezed and unable to access the breaks…. This is a tragic design flaw that could have been remediated by a longer handle of about another foot and/ or tilted back about 30 degrees. Sadly I had to return it .. unfortunately this is a reality of production design for perhaps a smaller Far East body type not a western body type that tends to be larger. Also the short handles make it difficult to lean the chair back to get over thresholds

I normally don’t write reviews, but I had to write one about this chair. I bought it for my husband who is 5’9” and weights 180 pounds. We wanted a transport wheelchair that was strong, comfortable, yet compact, and lightweight . This chair checked all boxes and more: it has security features such as reflectors and a seat belt. I have shoulder problems and I had no problems loading this chair into my car’s trunk (only weighs 24 pounds). The shock absorbers provide a smooth ride. The chair is strong and it seats comfortably (seat width 17.75 inches) an adult . I had returned two chairs before I finally found this one. It is not too expensive and definitely well worth the money .

It’s fantastic to hear that the manual wheelchair exceeded expectations, offering smooth gliding and easy storage capabilities! The fact that it contributed to a complaint-free experience during our two-week stay in Florida speaks volumes about its quality and user-friendliness. My suggestion for a more supportive seat cushion is a valuable insight, highlighting the importance of comfort during extended use. It’s clear that this wheelchair has made a positive impact on our travels, enhancing mobility and convenience for my daughter. I hope sharing our experience and recommendation, will be be incredibly helpful for others in search of a reliable manual wheelchair.

Brakes gave out after 2 months. Kept trying to fix it but way too dangerous to mess with a chair with no brakes. Mom’s too precious!
