BRakes Are HORRIBLe.!! Right brake fell off and had to be replaced, and now left brake is loose and not gripping. Narrow enough to fit thru my narrow doors of my house. Brakes are a little hard to turn on, but I’m managing. Broken foot and ankle demanding another 10 weeks in wheelchair.

I’m just starting to use a wheelchair, and I wanted a really basic one to start with (I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a more specialized chair, just to find it difficult to use). This chair is awesome! It’s just my size and really easy to maneuver around furniture and all. It’s tricky going around the block though, because the chair wants to go in the direction of the tilt of the pavement. But that’s a great workout. *I’ve found cycling gloves to be indispensable in this instance! Saves my hands from blisters and abrasions!*
It’s going to be a long time until I get a new wheelchair, I like this one so much! And the nurses at one doctor’s office like how agile this chair is to get around the exam rooms too.

I bought this chair for my 17 year old daughter. She felt great to be in a chair that fit her. (smaller than the oversized chairs you might find at a supermarket.) The weight of the wheelchair was important for me, because I have to lift it into the back of my car. This chair is plenty sturdy enough, yet light enough for me to hoist without hurting myself. It moves very smoothly, and has been perfect for my daughter. You will want to purchase a bag for the back, so you can store little purchases or your purse in the bag while you push. There is only one drawback, and it may or may not matter to you. The footrests are entirely and easily removable, which is great – but they can not be extended, to put the feet up. This is not an issue for us, so we are well pleased with this chair. By the way, when you see someone in a wheel chair – smile at them. You would be amazed by how happy it makes them.

Can’t adjust brakes.

Solidly built, and best value for the money. However, not designed for anyone very “wide.”
Also goes through some of the narrow doors most bigger wheelchairs cannot.

Hi quality. Not too heavy. Does the job with no worries.

Generally, the chair is adequate. Have to steer–it tends to drift left. The brakes are hard to handle, but I think they need adjusting and I haven’t yet found out how to do that. Generally satisfied with it. No fault of the chair that our doorways are too narrow to go through comfortably, or that it’s not easy to get over some humps when we are out and about. It’s a good, basic tool for where we are in life.
