Well made. Came assembled with back folded down for shipping but also nice for trunk storage and easily locks upright for use. Foot pad enables tipping back to get front wheels over small obstacles. Great value. Nice color.

Evrything looked fine until I went to use the brakes. Neither the handbrakes nor the brake lock lever worked. The chair would have rolled down the slightest incline. Beause of my mechanical background, I was eventually able to figure out that the brake lock lever was not installed properly and prevented any braking at all. Rather than return the chair and wait for a new one, as my wife needs to use it, I was able to bend a piece of metal (#1) on both sides to allow the brake locking lever to go up into it’s correct position. #2 in the photo prevented the brakes from working. Then I had to re-bend the metal piece (#1) into it’s original position in order to keep the brake lever in it’s proper position.
Update: I thought I fixed it, but the hand brakes again slipped by the stop for them. This was on a slope at the orthopedic doctor’s office. I had to put the wheel against a curb and hold the chair while helping my wife into it and do it again to get her out of it. I have tried to fix it again, but I may have to return it.

Lighweight and durable for our present needs. Rolls easy and slim enough to fit through narrow door. Convenient and easy to load in a vehicle. The only issue I have up to this point is the bolts holding the brake assembly broke and this made to wheel chair unsafe for use. Due to time restraints I will not have enough time for a replacement. I had some bolts on hand and I was able to replace the damage one and will replace to other at a later time. Once I replace the damage bolt, the wheel chair work as is should and will provide many years of use.

I got this for my Mom, she uses it in the house to move around in the kitchen. It’s nicely made and portable. There are two issues though I would like to bring up. For the person sitting in the transport chair, locking the wheels is difficult. The locking handles are a bit low and hard to move for an elderly person.
The 2nd issue are the front wheels. They did not use end caps on the screw and nut. They used them on the rear wheels but not the front. This is an issue for anyone who knows what is going to happen if those front wheels rub against a wall or molding. It’s going to gouge the wall and leave a deep scrape. I’m puzzled how they could overlook this. I ended up buying some rubber end caps and gluing them over the screw and nut (Photo enclosed). The bolt and nut are 13mm, best-wheelchair.com does sell these.

My father had a stroke and needs two wheelchairs this one is a transport chair and works great. Home bathrooms have a smaller frame especially in bedrooms. Hallways are more narrow so I needed a wheelchair that I could transport my father. This turns down the hallway and is able to go in and out of the bathrooms. I travel with it so it fits in my Jeep and folds easily it’s metal so very robust and sturdy as far as comfort this is more for transport so not something I would leave him in for long periods of time. Also the wheels are low so you have to have someone push or use your legs there is no way to use hands at all small wheels but tough does move on carpet
