Many of the Medline wheelchairs have a similar appearance. Don’t do what I did and assume it is the correct one that was sent to you. Make sure you check the model number immediately. I have never ordered a wheelchair before or used one. The wheelchair looked exactly like what I had ordered, but after using it for a bit, I discovered it was NOT the chair I ordered. When I called best-wheelchair.com, customer service informed me that they couldn’t refund the price difference because I had 1 week to call to tell them I had received the wrong wheelchair and it was past that time period and “out of warranty.” I asked them where this policy was listed and was told it wasn’t listed anywhere. So, I was charged $359.11 for a wheelchair I didn’t receive, and the one I received costs $169. They only gave me 30% off, which leaves me about $82 short of what I should have been refunded. BUYER BEWARE!!!

We were looking for a well built , lightweight wheelchair for my mother. It is easier for my father to load in and out of the car than the old wheelchair that they have had for years.

I did a lot of research and very happy that I purchased this particular wheelchair. It is very comfortable, glides easily and seems to be sturdy enough for my family member who is 230 pounds. She has used it daily for a few months and it is handling excellent. She recommends the 20 inch seat (for wiggle room) for plus size person because it just fits her at 18in seat ( with little wiggle room). All in all, she says it’s the best one she has tried and loves it!

Glad to have this as some days my disabled husband has a hard time walking. Very sturdy. A bit heavy for me to lift into car though

This is a light weight chair so always seems like it’s not as secure. So far tho it is holding up nicely and gets the job done. Excellent chair for the price.

I like the swing away legs (which remove very easily) and the ability to easily remove the large wheels to load in the car. The wheels take some muscle to reattach however. I like the ability to lift away the arms for transferring but not thrilled with the shape of the arms as it makes getting out of the chair tricky if you have decreased strength and mobility. The edges of the chair arms have an annoying lip that can press against the skin and have caused skin tears on my husband. They would be more comfortable if the padding wrapped all the way around each arm. This seems to be a common design “flaw” with every Medline wheelchair he has used. This chair is of moderate weight. Overall this wheelchair seems sturdy enough for my tall, slim husband. Only the specific oxygen holder made for this model wheelchair will fit it.
Edit: Due to the added weight of the equipment we have to add for my husband (a ventilator and oxygen tank) I had to purchase an anti tip extension for the back of his wheelchair as an added safety measure. Only a specific model will work with this chair which I had to purchase elsewhere. Finding the correct device took some significant searching and trial and error. Measure your doorways! This is wider than the usual wheelchair and may not fit.

Like the looks and quality seems good. Only had to install the handles which was simple.

I would like to change arms and arm rests to full length, but I’ve been unable to find replacements in stock on Medline website.

Functional, well featured chair.
One minor complaint in the assistant handles in the back slide down into tubes with holes and spring-loaded post-stops which are fine but they wobble. To counter the wobble, there are screw-tensioned clamps that you tighten. The issue I have is that one side tightens and stops the jiggly handle, the other side cannot be tightened enough. It’s as wobbly after tightening as it was before.
The most significant problem that I have is with the main wheels. The tires are made from a HARD slippery plastic. Even then the wheels are locked the chair slides easily on common surfaces. Hardwood floors, linoleum, surfaces it skates. Even indoor/outdoor carpeting it slides inches when transferring an 85 pound person into the chair which feels hazardous. I ended up using my foot to chock the wheel but that puts me out of position to catch the patient if something goes wrong. Currently looking for replacement wheels with RUBBERY tires to make it safer.
