   My wife has RA damage in her knees and is in pain when using her walker. This chair is perfect for her. Everybody comments on how attractive it is. It is super easy to assemble and well designed. We could not be happier with this great product.

   I didn’t want the regular black transport wheelchair which you see everywhere because when people look at it they see disabled right away. Most people remark they have never seen a wheelchair in color before. I don’t enjoy being reminded that I’m disabled, at least for now. I had a stroke and years later needed a hip replacement. So I purchased it well before hip surgery to just make life easier to get aro. It’s lighter than a regular transport wheelchair and folds by pulling the handle on the center of the seat.. And the handles fold too. I can actually reach the brake while sitting in the chair to lock and unlock it, but I don’t recommend that for the elderly who have balance issues. The foot rests fold to the side and there’s a catch that holds them in place. The foot rests can be removed which helps getting into places. With the foot rest folded to the side it makes the wheelchair a little wide and I found it difficult to get through most door frames. It comes with a bag for putting your stuff in, which is convenient. I bought a seat pad which makes the chair more comfortable when sitting for long periods of time. I love mine and I’m glad I purchased it!

   I experienced a small difficulty in assembling this wheelchair. The manual indicated a toll-free number and a website for support. Neither was any help at all. Calling the phone number got me into a sales pitch for a “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” medicare scheme. I was unable to speak to a real person, only a recorded voice that appeared to be attempting to coerce me to say “yes” on a recording so they could bill medicare for a device that had nothing to do with my inquiry.

   Eventually, I discovered that two of the parts came from the factory reversed (left foot rest was installed on the right assembly and vice versa.) Once I fixed that, I was able to complete the assembly.

   My 87 year old mom won’t give this chair up. She doesn’t like the black wheelchairs. She especially depends on the pouch. The handles on the seat are great- you just lift up and the chair folds. The foot rests are easy to put up and down. They are also easy to take on and off.
