    Please be aware that although the description says the seat width is 19 inches, that is the outside measurement. The actual width of the seating area is only about 15.5 inches. There is also a bar below the arm rests, which further limits access. If the user has wider hips, or wears hip protectors this chair may be too narrow.

    When my husband was ill this was a life- saver! It is narrow enough to negotiate standard doorways! And it is light weigh enough to be lifted into the trunk of a car when I needed to take him to the doctor!

    The tranport chair is probably fabulous for average size person but the seat is too small for my husband who is 6’2″ and 315 pounds. The product description says it supports up to 350 pounds but the paperwork with the device says 300 pounds.

    My Mother-in-law loved this 19″ transport chair as it allows her careworker to bring her in stores, doctor’s appointments, etc. Product is as advertised, very strong and sturdy! She likes the fact that the back of the chair bends down as shown! Furthermore, it only weighs 19 lbs. therefore, very easy for the careworker to place chair in and out of vehicle! Almost ordered the 17″ width but it would have been too narrow for her even though she is a small adult! Very pleased with this transport chair!

    It’s a little heavier than I thought. But I am able to lift it and it fits in the back of my Prius V because the back of the seat collapses
    Sturdy enough for short distances to doctor appointments or to church. The only thing that required adjustment was the length of the leg rests. It comes fully assembled.
