   Be sure your handicap toilet fits…mine doesn’t. We happened to have the tallest and widest handicap toilet. But it’s always good to know someone with experience, my guy some how made it taller, and fits super tight. It’s lots of money 💰 don’t waste it.

   A lot of people complained about the instructions. I didn’t think they were that bad, i’ve seen much worse. There isn’t a whole lot to put together anyway. Haven’t had it in the shower yet but it seems sturdy enough.

   I think it’s probably best to start with why I got this, and how I’m using it. I am disabled, and I struggle with walking around some/most days. My issues are postural, and combine with chronic fatigue. So some days a wheelchair lets me get around the house just a little more than I otherwise could, and I’ve been without one for a while now. In addition, bath/shower time is a huge struggle for me, because I can pass out in the shower from standing up like that in the heat. Likewise, getting out of the heat after laying down in a bath can cause me to pass out. A chair I can use to help me with these was a very attractive option. The fact that it’s self-propelled means that I can use it myself. Overall, I think the build quality itself is pretty good. I don’t have issues with the materials quality, or the build itself. The issues I am running into are more either quality control, or engineering design, depending on the issue. There’s also an issue that really isn’t the chair’s fault- so I’m not blaming it, but I’ll bring it up just to make sure people check into it before purchasing. Issue 1: The instructions are mediocre. While assembling the chair was not difficult (I personally needed help as I am the disabled one) but the instructions just seem a little lacking. I do appreciate they exist, but they could be better. Issue 2: I have uploaded three images of the wheel axles. The left and right axles installed, and me holding one of the axles. The problem is that as it came from the factory, one of the axles was adjusted so that it did not click fully into place with those ball locks. It ALMOST did. This gave the impression that it was secure, but then one day the wheel just fell off as I was pulling the chair into position. Thankfully I was not in the chair. This was not a difficult fix, I just needed to adjust the lock nut on the end of the axle a quarter turn to extend it out. However none of this was mentioned in the instructions, and it initially felt secure. The instructions do mention something along the lines of a vague “verify everything is secure” but honestly, there should be a checklist. Everything SEEMED secure, and yet the wheel fell off. Issue 3: If I lean forward all the way (or if someone more disabled than myself fell forward) the center of gravity moves beyond the front wheels, and the chair will completely fall over forward. I intentionally tested this, and even though I was ready for it, I almost lost the chair out from under me. Use a lot of caution to not lean too far forward, or if it’s your loved one in the chair, make sure they don’t fall forward or the chair CAN flip over forward. This is very honestly dangerous for anyone who might fall forward. Issue 4: The bucket is not a feature I will be using, but it has caused some issues that make me doubly glad I’m not using it. I am under the weight limit of the chair by about 10lbs. Just sitting in the chair, with only moderate movement while just sitting, the bucket will invariably fall out through its brackets. Furthermore, the seat cover relies on the bucket for support to stay in place. After the bucket as been pressed through its holding brackets, the seat cover then starts to make its way through the hole too and will eventually fall through. This has yet to fail to happen; it happens every time I use the chair. I have absolutely verified that I have the bucket installed correctly on its tracks, and it still happens. I intend on removing the bucket completely and adding a steel angle iron in its place under the seat to give support to the cover. This may not be an issue for a lighter person, but I am still under the chair’s stated weight limit. I have included photos of the seat cover, and the bucket in its brackets. Issue 5: The axle for the left armrest arrived bent. It’s bent outward, so I really do not think this happened in shipping as it’s bent the wrong way. It still raises and lowers but it’s pressed awkwardly into the back of the chair when it’s raised up. It’s not a huge issue, but it’s there. Given the angles, it was next to impossible to get a photo that shows it. Issue that isn’t the chair’s fault: I failed to measure my doorway into my bathroom before ordering. This was my own fault. This particular chair’s claim to fame is bath and shower time, and I can’t fit it into my bathroom- and I am very frustrated with that. I am not docking the chair at all for this as the dimensions are listed and I simply failed to check first. Don’t be me. Measure your path to your bath and shower. I’m going with three stars here and not two because absolutely honestly, despite the issues I’ve listed, it’s a well-made chair. The build quality is high.

    This wheelchair functions as more than just a commode wheelchair for my grandfather. He occasionally uses it for the commode, but, he also uses it around the house to roll himself from his bedroom to the verandah and he says it is comfortable.

    Putting the wheelchair together was simple and the wheelchair seems well made and durable.
