Even after reading the instructions and watching the video, the wheelchair does not fold by itself. I tried the remote and nothing. But the wheelchair itself rides smoothly and my son likes it. I am 56 yrs old and it’s hard to manually fold up an electric wheelchair. The device is used by my disabled son. The whole purpose of spending this amount of money was to make it easy for me to transport the wheelchair. The joystick did not come with the option of pressing a button to fold and unfold the chair. It’s only on the remote.

I didn’t realize this can’t be returned anymore. I am a paraplegic in a wheelchair. I tried ir for the first time for Christmas travels. I had to return home early. I have lymphatic legs and the chair legs jabbed into them. It was so painful. Nothing helped. Now I want to return it.

The chair runs well. I just have a few issues. The remote control only moves the chair. None of the other buttons do anything. I was really hoping the folding button would fold the chair, but it doesn’t. There seems to be a cord to connect both batteries at once, but the directions don’t show how that is possible. The cord isn’t long enough to replace the cord that connects to a single battery, so when one battery runs low, I will need to switch the cord to the other battery. The joystick is extremely sensitive and hard to control. You might think you are pressing it forward, but if you move it a little speck to one side or the other, you will veer off in that direction. If you grew up playing video games, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem.

Before I bought this chair, I had gotten another which was not what it said it was, electrical problems and low power out put. This chair, I wt is 315lbs and 5’11. A full day to charge up, then try it out. Power chair for sure, easy to drive, up grade, over grass and stone and has extras not told which I think are just very classy, like a remote to bring your chair to where you are, a SOS to ask someone to help you if your stuck, it also will adjust your foot rest. So, happy camper for now, I will write if it changes, but it don’t look like it for now.
