I needed this chair after breaking my leg and being unable to walk for weeks. This chair let me come home instead of going to a rehab center! We have a 19040’s home with the narrow doorways and a real skinny door leading from the living room to the sunroom. We thought it would never make it through there but it did. One small part broke and I sent an email on the weekend expecting a Monday response. Instead, I got a call back that day and a new part shipped immediately. This company is fabulous. Buy one just for fun!

I am female, 5’10”, 205 lbs. This chair is much too small for my frame. The wheels move nicely, and the chair is certainly “slim” in terms of getting around the house and in/out of doorways, but everything about this chair is too short and small, especially when it comes to the foot rests! It’s a good chair, but probably better if you’re 5’6 or shorter. Forget about using this chair with boots or support.
I wonder if this chair was adapted?

I don’t think I’ll buy anything else than this amazing chair for my elderly dad in future. It’s very comfortable for him and supports his back, and it’s super easy for his caregivers to move him around the house. Plus, the company who make these chairs, are a genuinely responsible small business with excellent customer service. I was almost shocked at their responsiveness, which is rare these days. This is an updated review, changing my rating to 5 stars. Recently had a question about the chair and called customer support. The representative was extremely helpful and provided excellent support. He also informed me that a new design for the swing out footplates is in progress and they should be available in a few months. In any event, my husband is a polio survivor of 66 years and this is the best chair he has ever owned!
We recently purchased a Flex Dart. Love the chair however the foot plates are too difficult to swing out of the way with the little pushbuttons. I would encourage the manufacturer to come up with a retrofit that would work similar to the foot plates on a travel chair which are easy to remove and swing out of the way with a small metal latch.

A great product! I bought for my mom to use after a leg amputation from a surgery infection but she had a stroke before getting to use it. I put the unit together and wheeled around my living room and the chair was perfect on our tile. Very comfortable and would be a great daily chair as it is well built and is more of an office chair than most wheel chairs. . Wonderful customer support as I am able to return the chair given the circumstances.
