JMW Verified Buyer –
We bought this chair to ship directly to my father, who is in his 80s. Amazingly, he was able to setup the chair, but was unable to find the battery which had fallen out of the bottom of this damaged box during transit.
There is no resolution to his clicks, calls, and emails to best-wheelchair.com and Simply Medical. Their Customer Care is “simply” confusing, and no way to treat a disabled veteran who requires this chair.
best-wheelchair.com and Simply Medical have requested that my father box up the chair (without the battery), take it to a shipping company of his choice, pay for the return postage, and then they will consider sending him a new chair. Should he send it back in their damaged box?
Keep in mind, this is an elderly man who needs a wheel chair just to get to the shipping location. This type of fulfillment is unacceptable. Unfortunately, there is no one to speak with by telephone at Simply Medical to agree to a reasonable solution.
