I ordered this knowing that I would be close to the weight limit on the device. I’m currently 290. Limit on this is 300. I think that limit is being a bit generous. Technically it can go w/ 300 lbs but controlling the wheelchair isn’t as easy. It will go in a straight line fine but turning in a small radius is not possible without using my legs to help the chair move. If you have an elderly person who isn’t close to that weight then this is nice. It goes very fast even on the lowest speed and you can get around pretty easy. It is very heavy and the person who will need to use this will require someone else to pick it up. I would suggest maybe staying under 250lbs to be safe if considering to order this. It folds easy and is intuitive it just lacks power to move that 300lbs

Wanted to love it, but it turned out to be dangerous to use. We put the new chair through it’s paces on a trip to Toronto. My wife found it near impossible to go straight on anything but level ground. The controls did not allow for smooth adjustment to turn slightly to off-set slight slopes on sidewalks. We also needed to negotiate a handicap ramp at a major museum and at low speeds it was impossible to make a turn on the upslope without me assisting. The chair did not have enough power to move up the ramp and turn at the same time. My wife is 80 lbs below the weight capacity so that should not have been an issue. Even with hours of practice the chair did not like going straight with the controls pushed straight forward. At one point I had to grad the back of he chair when there was a little bit of side slope on a sidewalk and my wife could not get the chair to move way from the street side. This was not a significant slope just a tiny bit not level. WE are returning the chair because it was not safe for urban use. We are really disappointed as we wanted to like it. This looks exactly like the Majestic line of power chairs. I don’t know if this has cheaper controls than the brand name unit. We don’t have any experience with the more expensive brand name one.

I ordered this chair to take along for when my mother goes shopping. At 83 years old, her knees go out often which has greatly diminished her independence. This chair has provided a great solution for her to get around the store without having to use a mobility scooter which she has trouble operating.
Overall, I was really happy with this chair. It’s pretty easy to break down and stores nicely in the back of my SUV. It also has a really good battery life and we’ve used it on walks and for longer shopping trips with family. The seat itself seems to be comfortable for her, but she’s also pretty small. I’m not sure this would be as roomy for a bigger person. She also did have a little trouble at first getting used to the controls, but we’ve been working on it. Overall, I’m pretty happy with this chair and would recommend it!
