I absolutely love this chair. It is the perfect size for our needs. It’s very sturdy and versatile. The fact that you can fold it up and pull the chair handles back makes it easy to store and utilize. I was folding it once and the leg lift came off. I was disappointed initially because I liked the chair so much and thought, one flaw — turns out it’s built to come off — all the better, the design team should be commended. It has really made a difference.

Damaged and stressed ligaments and other soft tissue around both knees and left in 2 story house living alone…totally unable to really walk for days and realized wheels could facilitate the best healing opportunity and yet I could still get around. the house. Had wheeled item on both floors and now fold it so easily in car and walk myself around the big stores. And soon will use outdoors as support to walk and then to sit to rest ligaments. Runs so smoothly and gets through the narrow doorways in this old house. At 78 I might need it again and even when healed now, will be keeping it around. Great price and more comfy to sit than walker and not so ungainly to pack up as I did for my mother’s for years.

So glad I purchased this chair for my elderly mother for times when she needs more than a rollator. Easy to assemble. Folds up or down in two easy steps. The footrests hook on and must be removed each time you want to fold away the chair. Rolling action is smooth. Feels sturdy when pushing but is light enough to lift in and out of my car. Fits the trunk of my Honda Civic with room to spare (unlike some rollators). There are leverage “pedals” near the rear wheels to help get the chair over raised thresholds. The carton it came in had cut-out carrying holes which made it easier to get the 30-pound box home. Only drawbacks: a larger person might find the seat confining; there are no pockets built into the chair and no storage bag was included for the footrests; you have to bend down almost to the ground to manually engage the real-wheel brakes. But those are just minor issues. This chair is perfect for getting quickly from point A to B, and is very reasonably priced.

This wheelchair is ideal for the job it is designed for. Not too heavy to lift into the back of a standard hatchback. Easy to manouvre. A bit of a problem with the front wheels fouling the footrests when going in reverse. Why go in reverse? Pushing my aged father round the supermarket and needing to go back for a missed item and not being to turn round in the narrow aisles. Good value

Our 501-C non-profit bought one for a person about to have foot/leg surgery and would need help getting into narrow existing showers at home and for follow-up Doctor visits. This style is lighter to handle and fits tighter spaces than the big wheel style. Since she would always have someone with her this let us check off every need, save money and make it easier for her “assistant”.
Note the user will not be able to motivate themselves very well with the small wheel model. But, while these chairs are of good quality, you can still get one of each combined $ from best-wheelchair.com for a total of about 50% of the price of either one or the other from your neighborhood pharmacy. All of our clan is way into 70-80’s and far more familiar with wheelchairs than we ever dreamed we would be. best-wheelchair.com!

Yes, this chair is narrow. The description says it’s narrow. the seat is 17″ but the width between the arms is 14.5″. This is not for a larger person. It is lightweight but heavy-duty and PERFECT for my father. I only wish that when the foot rests are not in use, they would strap back or snap back in place. They flop forward causing the chair to be wider. For now, I removed them and put them in a tote bag to carry with the chair when needed. They could also be tied back if necessary. Other than that, it’s sturdy, rolls smoothly, easy to turn corners and go through a standard doorway without removing the door (which is why I wanted a narrow one). I purchased used/like new and only the box was damaged! The chair is fine!!! Cha-Ching! I love saving money!!! Very happy with it and well worth the full price if a used one isn’t available. I got lucky. Medical supply stores more than double the list price!

This chair was exactly what it said in the ad and for the money, we were able to use it the whole time our mother was here visiting. Very easy on the back when needing to life into the car. Momma loved it so much she took it all the way home to S.A.

I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing model TR37E-SV. The dimensions are misleading or omitted. The chair seat is narrow, 14″ across, 16″ deep, and the back is 16″ high. And this wheelchair’s handles seem high, about 3″ higher than my older transport chair. There are no pockets on the back of the chair. However, the footrests are adjustable and come with “heel” straps to prevent the foot from slipping backwards. When folded, the chair fits in my 2018 Prius Prime and 2025 Hyundai Kona EV. Chair seems sturdy and should last a long time.
