Looks good – standard features work well – heavy duty. BUT DOES NOT ROLL !!!! I bought this in preparation for multiple knee surgeries. I am very strong with excellent upper-body strength – I can barely get this to roll. When going and coming from Physical Therapy it requires 2 PT folks to push this thing down the hall. This is true on short-pile carpet, hard word floors, and linoleum floors. Flat out bad design. We had the maintenance engineer look at this boat anchor. He assembles, maintains, and updates all the chairs in the rehab center. He took this lead-weight with wheels apart and re-greased re-aligned all wheels – and no improvement. If I could give this a lower rating I would.

great price. thanks to best-wheelchair.com prime I was able to get this chair shipped to Alaska at no cost to me. To buy a chair like this here in AK would probably be about $1000. With three large size folks with leg/knee issues this will be very handy to have. Now about the chair…..it is solidly built, not a wimpy seat or poorly constructed, very solid which is important for feeling secure for larger folks. I have purchased several drive products in the heavy duty/bariatric and each has been the same, solid, well constructed and very reasonably priced. as I’ve mentioned I like to have walking aides on hand and with drive’s pricing and prime I have been able to do so. The only negative would be the leg rests are “ok” but a better adjustable
model would be needed if the chair was for continuous use and not just post op.

Wheelchair came exactly as ordered and looked great. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size. I reached out directly to the seller AND THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Nicest guy and had fedex scheduled to pick up the wrong size and a new wheelchair on the way in the right size the same day. I was almost in tears with that service- you just don’t get that these days, especially with a big item like this. New wheelchair was delivered 2 days later and it’s exactly what I needed. Can’t recommend enough!

This is nice heavy duty chair. The front wheels are more durable than past chairs I’ve had.

Chair is large and solid. Seat is higher than our old one. Old chair was only 15″ wide, so this one seems huge by comparison, but it is very nice. Too heavy to easily take out places, but very nice to ride in and easy to roll. Armrests detach easily and reverse if needed. Footrests swing out of the way nicely when they aren’t needed. Padding is thick and chair seems very well made. Being a Bariatric chair, it is too wide for older doors, so be aware of that.
Box was ripped open in multiple places then taped back together and footrests were missing. Seller immediately authorized the return, then called to tell me he’d reimburse me for footrests if I just wanted to buy new ones instead of lugging the heavy chair to a return site. That worked better for us because the chair is very heavy and hubby really needed it. Seller wasn’t at fault, but made it right for us in the easiest way possible!

The best thing about this wheelchair is that it can fit through the doors in my apartment. Most bariatric wheelchairs are too wide.
It is pretty difficult to maneuver compared to other wheelchairs that I’ve used in the past. It feels sturdy but after about a year it started to fall apart. One of the arms broke near the rear and the seat started to sag pretty bad. I didn’t have an alternative, so I taped the heck out of it with duct tape.
I would buy it again but in two years the price went from $316 to $480. I won’t pay that much for this chair.
