This has been the best purchase for us. It is sturdy but not as heavy as other wheelchairs. It folds up like a breeze with minimal effort. I put the foot holders on today and it literally took me 5 minutes. We decided to buy one because we felt it would be easier than having to run into a doctors office first to ask if you could borrow their wheelchair for the appointment and risk it not being available or too small. My husband is 6 feet 5 inches tall. This wheelchair fits him comfortably and I don’t have to bend forward to push it. Best of all it fits inside our vehicle behind my front seat and it is easy to get it in and out. And the price is right on top of all that!!

My chair has been in constant, daily use for 3 1/2 years and is still in perfect shape except for a little wear on the arm rests. It keeps me mobile and useful in my home. This was some of the best money I’ve ever spent.

We are thoroughly pleased with this quality transport chair. We bought it to safely bring a 91 year old loved one from our car into our house when she comes for regular visits. We put two seat cushions on the seat and against the backrest. She says it’s the most comfortable chair she’s ever sat in, and she feels like royalty being wheeled around. She’s at the point where using her walker is getting dangerous when outside on paved surfaces, so this is a God send. It is heavy to lift when folded to put in the trunk of the car, so we’ve decided to purchase a second one to keep at her house. Having one at both locations keeps us from having to lift it in and out of our car.

Got the 22 inch as it is used to transport a 210 patient. Also, ordered the 22 inch gel cushion which proves to be perfect with this chair. Chair has breaks where patient or caregiver can reach them and rolls easily to all locations where the patient needs to go. It weighs 49 pounds, so I can fold it, put it behind the passenger seat and take it out and in when there is a need as my vehicle is a minivan. I have one in the house and one in the car and this is very helpful. Price is excellent and product was put together when it got here, all I had to do is take it out of the box and unfold it as it is folded in the box. This was simple to do.

Pro — Built like a tank! Well-made with sturdy, quality materials and components.
Con — Built like a tank! And just about as heavy. Better have some muscles to get it in and out of your car!
Pro — Drive is a reliable name in wheelchairs and has been dependable for us in the past.
Con — The only feature that does not seem as sturdy to us are the footrests. They feel rather flimsy and as if they might break easily. I will have to be careful to not put undue pressure on them.
Pro — There is a large, roomy pocket behind the seat.
Con — Couple of nit-picky things 1) The arm rests could have been a few inches longer. They feel a little short for my comfort. 2) The shade of blue is brighter, royal blue rather than the steel blue depicted. I know this is not just my monitor since all the other blue chairs show up as royal blue, which is why I liked this one — because I thought it was different. And yes, I know that really IS nit-picky and I shouldn’t even mention it.
All-in-all, good value for the money.

Far less expensive that I can get it through the insurance company I can buy this beautiful wheelchair on best-wheelchair.com. It is not designed to be self propelled. It’s designed to save space by not having gigantic wheels take up width on the wheelchair. It’s as late as you could ever get a bariatric wheelchair to be. It’s super comfortable. It’s got adjustable footrest, which swing away, It’s got padded armrest that let you slide under a desk or a dining table. The seat and back are slightly padded, but I preferred to add a cushion from cushion lab. This is the large size cushion you see in the photo. It’s really a well-made product. It takes a couple hours to air out as it stinks a little when you first get it. It is 22 inches wide ( Transport wheelchairs come in many widths from 16 inches to over 24 inches ) and 18 inches deep, which is standard. It has handles which let you pick up the seat and fold it up easier. It’s not designed to sit in all day every day, but it’s great to go out and have a good time as it fits in the car much better and is about half the weight of regular wheelchairs.

Good strong quality. Lots of room. A little harder to get through normal size doors.

The product is well made my problem is I am tall the handles are short I have to lean way over to push my wife. Going up a grade hurt my lower back. The other draw back is the seat upright leans back to far my wife doesn’t have the strength in her legs to get up or lean forward. A wheelchair seat doesn’t lean way back. This unit is much lighter than a wheelchair. I would still recommend the product
