I have been debating on purchasing this wheelchair for almost 2 years. There is almost always the “it’s too good to be true” moments. I finally purchased this wheelchair and wish I had done it 2 years ago. It’s light, convenient and easy to drive. If you are still active, but don’t need the 500 lbs wheelchair, this is definitely the way to go.

My wife is somewhat mobility impaired. By that I mean that it is difficult for her to walk more than 20 feet or so. Due to this condition she was feeling very depressed as she was basically confined to the house. This power chair is almost literally a “life saver”. Folds easily and fits in the back of our SUV and I’m sure it would fit in most car trunks. Weighs about 50 lbs but I’m 70+ years old and I have no problem loading and unloading this chair. I can’t say enough about the vendor. Communication was easy and shipping was super fast. If you are in the market for a portable power wheelchair you can’t go wrong with this.

The product was way more heavy than expected. Also, the instructions are not clear and have no order to them.

I have the Airhawk wheelchair in the blue color. I’m not completely disabled. I can walk short distances, but I use it for occasions where I’d be walking a lot. I had knee surgery that just never completely healed, so I have residual pain if I walk long distances or have to stand for long periods of time. So I guess I use mostly as a transport chair. I’ll be using it on an upcoming trip where I have to cover large area between gates at the airport. It is rated for airline use and that’s one reason I bought it. It folds up compactly and the battery life is amazing. I don’t use it that often, sometimes weeks and it still has a full charge. You almost don’t need the extra battery it can go so long. It comes with a pigtail cable to charge the battery out of the chair. Batteries are nice and lightweight. They only weigh 5 pounds each. The chair uses one battery at a time. Though it comes with two, you only need one. It’s sturdy enough. Just use care when going down a steep ramp or hill as it might get away from you. I have my husband hold the chair and it’s fine. It can be switched to manual mode and someone can push you if something happens. A great chair, even for someone who is not completely disabled but does have limited range I can walk.

I took the battery out to check it in. It was 52.5 lbs on the airline scale. Fortunately, I was able to argue it was exempt from weight since it is a wheelchair. Otherwise, it is great.

My one star is only because they misled on the weight. I put on a scale right out of the box and it is 45 pounds. Why can’t they say 45? Big deal they are lightest and then do not use the correct weight. Be honest, Other than that very happy. Took on plane and cruise and everything worked well. Just that I am restricted to lifting to 40 pounds and their misleading info has created problems for us. This was to replace a 65 pound chair that know I cannot use as planned.

This chair is amazing! It’s pretty light, easy to collapse, runs for a long time on its batteries, and deals with most ramps very well. Sometimes it has trouble going down steep ramps/streets, and it doesn’t work at all in the rain/snow. It works well in urban/suburban areas, but it can ride on short grass. I highly recommend this chair!
