This chair is much more sturdily bult than another much cheaper transfer chair I own. The trade off is it weighs a bit more as it’s made of stronger thicker metal. It is rated for 300 lbs. I didn’t need that, but I did need it to take the daily abuses of regular use – running into doors/walls, going over difficult thresholds at an angle, handling the occasional hard landing into the chair, etc. It takes it all in stride. When I unboxed it my OT was there and she was very pleased I’d gotten a more substantial chair and she really liked this one. Worth the extra $$$ if this is your daily driver to get thru doorways.

Ordered this instead of a wheelchair to traverse my older home that has narrow doorways. Bought the 20″ size so I could wear a sweatshirt. Chair is very sturdy and well-built. My only wish is to have a specific manual for it; otherwise, it was a great buy.

Lightweight and very portable

Is heavy-duty as advertised but is not too heavy to pick up. Folds easily and have no problems fitting it in a trunk of a Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger. Use it for my Mom who says the ride is very comfortable. Is easy for her to get in an out. The arms are very sturdy for pushing on when getting up. The straps on the back of the foot rests work well. The foot rests are removable if you want to taken them off although we rarely do.

This transport wheelchair arrived fully assembled. My wife reports that is seems to “glide” across the room compared to her previous ones. It collapses easily and is narrow enough to fit in our backseat.
An important note: PARTS ARE EASILY AVAILABLE. Right on the chair is a sticker showing where to get parts. Before ordering this chair, I had spent a month trying to locate replacement wheels and forks for our “M” chair. “M” is now consigned to scrap.

The seat is only 17.5″ between the armrest posts. Also be aware that it costs $91.76 to return it.

It was returned. Smaller than we expected.

Liked the idea I got so fast and it is just what I wanted. It is perfect, just the right width.
